Bright white with clean, soft-grey veins. It is the classic Calacatta look with nothing unusual about it, the flexible, neutral default you will probably still like in ten years; size up the veining if you want more character. It has visible veining, so it tends to be the thing you notice in the room rather than a quiet background. Kitchen lighting and the cabinets around it change how the colour and any veining read. It can look softer, warmer or cooler than the slab photo, and a large run shows more than a single sample does. Quartz is made in batches, so tone and veining shift slightly from slab to slab. It is worth judging from a full sample in your own light rather than from a screen.
When to choose it
Best for a flexible white marble look. Pick it over a plain white when you want the room to have a clear centrepiece, and over a bolder statement vein when you would rather it not take over. It works most comfortably with the cabinet and backsplash tones in the Pairs with line above. See a full sample against your cabinet door in daylight before you decide.
We confirm the exact slab with you before anything is cut.

Calacatta White
Warm-white with soft grey veins on the diagonal. It is the marble look without the drama, with gentle movement and nothing that jumps out, and it sits next to almost any cabinet colour.

Calacatta Vein
Bright white with clean grey veins and a few clusters. There is more movement here than a plain Calacatta, but it still reads calm and neutral rather than bold.

Carrara White
White with feathery soft-grey veining all over. It is the marble look that whispers, reading more like fine texture than lines, cool and quiet, and easy to live with in a small kitchen.

Bold Calacatta
Bright white with dramatic charcoal-grey veins. This is a statement surface, not a quiet white, so keep it to one counter with a plain backsplash and check the full-slab pattern on a sample.
